14.2. Changing Display Settings (ENG) (WEB)

Note: If you cannot see some modules; you do not have access or your school has not acquired this module.

In the interface settings section, you can customize the session interface settings. The settings you change will become the default when sessions are created, either by the instructor or administrator. Interface settings can also be modified when creating a session or within the virtual classroom.
  1. Click on the settings button located at the bottom left of the window.
  2. Click on the display settings tab located at the top left of the opened page.

Change The Setting For Can Be Evaluated With Comments When The Session Ends

  1. Click on the settings button located in the bottom left of the window.
  2. Click on the display settings tab located on the upper left of the opened page.
  3. Click on the feature selection at the right of the text line in the opened tab to can be evaluated with comments when the session ends.
  4. When the feature selection turns green, it means it's active, and when it turns white, it's inactive.
  5. Click on the save button located in the bottom right of the page.
  6. When creating a session, all participants will see the default ended session evaluation form in the interface settings and after the session.

Change The Setting For Default Preparation Time (Minutes)

  1. Click on the settings button located in the lower left of the window.
  2. Click on the display settings tab located at the upper left of the opened page.
  3. In the opened tab, enter the default preparation time (in minutes) in the text box to the right of the "Default preparation time (minutes)" text line.
  4. Click on the save button located at the lower right of the page.
  5. You have set the default preparation time that will appear by default when creating a session.

Change The Setting For Session Duration (Minutes)

  1. Click on the settings button located in the lower left corner of the window.
  2. Click on the display settings tab located in the upper left corner of the opened page.
  3. In the opened tab, enter the default “session duration (in minutes)” in the text box located on the far right.
  4. Click the save button located in the lower right corner of the page.
  5. You have set the default session duration that will appear when creating a session.

Change The Setting For Block All Chat Messaging

  1. Click on the settings button located at the bottom left of the window.
  2. Click on the display settings tab on the top left of the opened page.
  3. Click on the feature selection at the right of the text line in the opened tab to block all chat messaging.
  4. When the feature selection turns green, it means it's active, and when it turns white, it's inactive.
  5. Click on the save button at the bottom right of the page.
  6. By default, all message traffic is blocked in the interface settings when creating a session.

Change The Setting For Block Public Messaging

  1. Click on the settings button at the bottom left of the window.
  2. Click on the display settings tab located at the top left of the opened page.
  3. Click on the feature selection at the right of the text line in the opened tab to block public messaging.
  4. When the feature selection turns green, it means it's active, and when it turns white, it's inactive.
  5. Click on the save button at the bottom right of the page.
  6. By default, general message traffic is blocked in interface settings when creating a session.

Change The Setting For Just Admins And İnstructors Shall See Participants' Messages

  1. Click the settings button at the bottom left of the window.
  2. Click on the display settings tab located at the top left of the opened page.
  3. Click on the feature selection at the right of the text line in the opened tab to just admins and instructors shall see participants' messages.
  4. When the feature selection turns green, it means it's active, and when it turns white, it's inactive.
  5. Click on the save button at the bottom right of the page.
  6. By default, in the interface settings, only moderators can view participants' messages when creating a session.

Change The Setting For Block Private Messaging

  1. Click on the settings button located at the bottom left of the window.
  2. Click on the display settings tab located in the top left corner of the opened page.
  3. Click on the feature selection at the right of the text line in the opened tab to block private messaging.
  4. When the feature selection turns green, it means it's active, and when it turns white, it's inactive.
  5. Click on the save button at the bottom right of the page.
  6. By default, private messaging is blocked when creating a session in the interface settings.

Change The Setting For Block Sending Private Messages To Admins

  1. Click on the settings button located at the bottom left of the window.
  2. Click on the display settings tab located in the upper left of the opened page.
  3. Click on the feature selection at the right of the text line in the opened tab to block sending private messages to admins.
  4. When the feature selection turns green, it means it's active, and when it turns white, it's inactive.
  5. Click on the save button located at the bottom right of the page.
  6. By default, when creating a session, interface settings prevent sending private messages to moderators.

Change The Setting For Block Private Messaging Between Users

  1. Click on the settings button located at the bottom left of the window.
  2. Click on the display settings tab at the top left of the opened page.
  3. Click on the feature selection at the right of the text line in the opened tab to block private messaging between users.
  4. When the feature selection turns green, it means it's active, and when it turns white, it's inactive.
  5. Click on the save button located at the bottom right of the page.
  6. By default, user-specific private messaging is blocked when creating a session in interface settings.

Change The Setting For Mute Sound On New Message

  1. Click on the settings button located in the bottom left of the window.
  2. Click on the display settings tab located in the top left of the opened page.
  3. Click on the feature selection at the right of the text line in the opened tab to mute sound on new message.
  4. When the feature selection turns green, it means it's active, and when it turns white, it's inactive.
  5. Click on the save button located in the bottom right of the page.
  6. By default, the new message sound is turned off in the interface settings when creating a session.

Change The Setting For Play Sound For Each New Message

  1. Click on the settings button located at the bottom left of the window.
  2. Click on the display settings tab located in the top left of the opened page.
  3. Click on the feature selection at the right of the text line in the opened tab to play sound for each new message.
  4. When the feature selection turns green, it means it's active, and when it turns white, it's inactive.
  5. Click on the save button located at the bottom right of the page.
  6. By default, in the interface settings, a message sound plays for each new message when creating a session.

Change The Setting For Show Browser Notification For Each New Message

  1. Click the settings button at the bottom left of the window.
  2. Click on the display settings tab located on the top left of the opened page.
  3. Click on the feature selection at the right of the text line in the opened tab to show browser notification for each new message.
  4. When the feature selection turns green, it means it's active, and when it turns white, it's inactive.
  5. Click on the save button at the bottom right of the page.
  6. By default, browser notifications will be shown for each new message when creating a session in interface settings.

Change The Setting For Clear Messaging History And Delete All Of Chat Messages When The Session Is Finished

  1. Click on the settings button at the bottom left of the window.
  2. Click on the display settings tab at the top left of the opened page.
  3. Click on the feature selection at the right of the text line in the opened tab to clear messaging history and delete all of chat messages when the session ıs finished.
  4. When the feature selection turns green, it means it's active, and when it turns white, it's inactive.
  5. Click on the save button at the bottom right of the page.
  6. By default, when a session is created, the interface settings clear chat history and delete all message contents when the session ends. (Messages will not be visible in Replays.)

Change The Setting For Allow Time Extension

  1. Click on the settings button located at the bottom left of the window.
  2. Click on the display settings tab located on the top left of the opened page.
  3. Click on the feature selection at the right of the text line in the opened tab to allow time extension.
  4. When the feature selection turns green, it means it's active, and when it turns white, it's
  5. Click on the save button located at the bottom right of the page.
  6. By default, time extension is allowed in the interface settings when creating a session.

Change The Setting For Always Force You To Use The Remaining Time Of The Session

  1. Click on the settings button at the bottom left of the window.
  2. Click on the display settings tab at the top left of the opened page.
  3. Click on the feature selection at the right of the text line in the opened tab to always force you to use the remaining time of the session.
  4. When the feature selection turns green, it means it's active, and when it turns white, it's
  5. Click on the save button at the bottom right of the page.
  6. By default, session settings force the use of the remaining session time.
