Note: If you cannot see some modules; you do not have access or your school has not acquired this module.

On the activities page, you can create multiple choice and single answer, multiple choice and multiple answer or short answer questions in your "question pool for your own use" or in the "common question pool for all instructors and administrators to use" to use in sessions, and you can add and use these questions in the session.

  1. Click on the "Activities" button located sixth from the top on the left side of the window.
    1. Questions and folders added to your question pool can only be viewed and used by the person who added them.
    2. Questions and folders added to common questions can be viewed and used by all authorized users.
      • Click on the shared questions button to add questions to the common question pool.

Adding a New Folder

You can create folders for question activities that you will add to the system and name them according to your needs, such as subject, topic, semester, group, or requirements. By organizing the question activities in folders, you can categorize them and ensure they are easily accessible when needed.

  1. Click on the "New Folder" button, located as the first item on the right of the "Question List" title at the top of the page.
  2. In the window that opens, enter the folder name in the "Folder Name" text box.
  3. Click the "Save" button at the bottom right of the window.
  4. A new folder has been created and added to the question list.
  5. Click on the name of the created folder listed in the question list.
  6. You can navigate inside the folder.
  7. You can add a new folder or question.

Adding Multiple Choice and Single Answer Questions

You can ask multiple choice and single answer questions for instant feedback and assessment using Perculus. For these questions, you can add explanation and image. Additionally, you can choose to publish the results of the questions anonymously or showing individuals, depending on your preference.

  1. By clicking on the upper directory or a folder name in the question list, you can add questions for your own use. If you wish, you can click on the "Shared Questions Folder" for use by all authorities and add questions that are publicly accessible.
  2. Click on the "Add Question" button, which is the second from the left at the top of the question list.
  3. In the question type section, click on the "Multiple Choice, Single Answer" button.
  4. Write your question's text in the Question Text box.
  5. A and B answer text boxes will appear automatically; write your answers in the answer text boxes.
  6. To add a new answer option, click the "Add Options" button.
  7. To delete an extra answer option that you added by mistake, click the "X" button on the right of the answer options.
  8. You can change the correct answer option by clicking on the checkbox to the left of the answers.
  9. Optionally, Enter your explanation for the question in the Short Description text box.
  10. Optionally, Drag and drop an image from your computer into the Image section, or click the "Add Image" button to browse and open a file from your computer. (File types: jpg, png, and gif)
  11. Click the "Save" button.
  12. Depending on your current directory, your question is added to your question bank, your folder, or the common questions folder.
  13. You can add your question to sessions from the question library or the common questions library.

Adding Short Answer Questions (Open-Ended)

You can ask short answer (open-ended) questions for instant feedback and assessment using Perculus. For these questions, you can add explanation and image. Additionally, you can choose to publish the results of the questions anonymously or showing individuals, depending on your preference.

  1. By clicking on the upper directory or a folder name in the question list, you can add questions for your own use. If you wish, you can click on the "Shared Questions Folder" for use by all authorities and add questions that are publicly accessible.
  2. Click on the "Add Question" button, which is the second from the left at the top of the question list.
  3. In the question type section, click on the "Short Answer" button.
  4. Write your question's text in the Question Text box.
  5. In the character limit section, enter the word count between 0 or 5000.
  6. Optionally, Enter your explanation for the question in the Short Description text box.
  7. Optionally, Drag and drop an image from your computer into the Image section, or click the "Add Image" button to browse and open a file from your computer. (File types: jpg, png, and gif)
  8. Click the "Save" button.
  9. Depending on your current directory, your question is added to your question bank, your folder, or the common questions folder.
  10. You can add your question to sessions from the question library or the common questions library.

Viewing Folders

You can view the folders and questions you've added to the activities page within the panel by clicking on the names or texts. You can also edit the question activities that you view.

  1. Below the "Question List" heading at the top of the page, folders and questions are listed in rows.
  2. In the question list rows, you'll find columns for folder name / question text, creator, creation date, type, and options (three dots).
  3. To view a folder, click on the folder names in the first column of the question list rows.
  4. You are now viewing the folder.
  5. Click the back button to the left of the top folder.

Editing Folder Names and Questions

You can now edit the question activities and folders you no longer want in the system from the question or folder options.

  1. Under the "Question List" at the top of the page, folders and questions are listed row by row.
  2. In the question list rows, you will find columns for folder name / question text, creator, creation date, type, and options (three dots).
  3. To edit folder names and questions, click on the options (three dots) button located in the fifth column of the question list rows.
  4. Click the "Edit" button from the dropdown list.
  5. Edit the folder name and save it.
  6. Edit and save the information when adding questions.

Deleting Folders or Questions

You can now delete the question activities and folders that you no longer want in the system from the question or folder options.

  1. Under the "Question List" at the top of the page, folders and questions are listed row by row.
  2. In the question list rows, you will find columns for folder name / question text, creator, creation date, type, and options (three dots).
  3. To edit folder names and questions, click on the options (three dots) button located in the fifth column of the question list rows.
  4. Click the delete button in the opened menu.
  5. You have deleted the folder or question.

Searching Between Folders or Files

If you have difficulty finding registered question activities or folders in the system, you can search among questions and folders by folder name, question text, and person information.

  1. Click on the search button, located on the top right, next to the "Question List" text.
  2. You can add filters while searching for folders or questions in the question list. You can add multiple filters.
  3. Enter the folder or question name in the search box that opens under the question list.
  4. Click on the "Select Person" drop-down list.
  5. Automatic searching will occur with each letter you type.
  6. Select a person from the listed options.
  7. Click the "Search" button.
  8. Based on the values you entered, folders and questions will be listed in the question list.

Switching Between Question Lists

To prevent complexity, question activities and folders are displayed in lists with a maximum of 15 entries per page.

  1. Under the "Question List" at the top of the page, folders and questions are listed row by row.
  2. At the bottom of the question list, there are page navigation buttons and information about the displayed number of folders and questions.
  3. Click the first page (<<) button, which is the first one in the page navigation buttons of the Activities page.
  4. You have moved to the first page of the question list.
  5. On the Activities page, click the previous page (<) button, which is the second one in the page navigation buttons.
  6. You have moved to the previous page in the question file list.
  7. Center bottom of the activities page, (1-10/X) represents the questions currently visible in the list, and (X-X/145) represents the total number of questions available.
  8. Click the next page (>) button, which is the fourth one in the page navigation buttons on the Activities page.
  9. You have moved to the next page in the question list.
  10. Click the last page (>>) button, which is the fifth one in the page navigation buttons on the Activities page.
  11. You have moved to the last page of the question list.
