You can configure how instructors and program managers can set course and member time restrictions.

Editing Instructors' Restriction Settings

Click the settings button, the second one from the right at the top center of the window.
Click the institution button at the top left of the settings page.
In the opened page, under the planning page settings section, select one of the restrictions under the instructors settings section to choose the restrictions instructors can set.
Select the option to “can only restrict the instructor hours” under the faculty members settings.
Click the save button at the bottom of the page.
Now, instructors can only restrict their daily working hours.
Select the option to “can only restrict the course hours” under the instructors settings.
Click the save button at the bottom of the page.
Now, instructors can only restrict their course hours.
Select the option to “can restrict both” (course and member hours) under the instructors settings.
Click the save button at the bottom of the page.
Now, instructors can restrict both their daily working hours and course hours.
You have defined the restrictions that instructors can set.

Editing Program Heads' Restriction Settings

Click the settings button, the second one from the right at the top center of the window.
Click the institution button at the top left of the settings page.
In the opened page, under the planning page settings section, select one of the restrictions under the program heads settings section to choose the restrictions program heads can set.
Select the option to “can only restrict the instructor hours” under the program heads settings.
Click the save button at the bottom of the page.
Now, program heads can only restrict daily working hours.
Select the option to “only restrict course hours” under the program heads settings.
Click the save button at the bottom of the page.
Now, program heads can only restrict course hours.
Select the option to “restrict both” (course and member hours) under the program heads settings.
Click the save button at the bottom of the page.
Now, program heads can restrict both daily working hours and course hours.
